The Sanctuary Guild and Needlework
The Guild Members have kept the brass shining and flowers adorning the altars throughout the year. We would warmly welcome new helpers for this important and rewarding contribution to the beauty of the Church.
Two innovations will reduce the workload this year. The brass has been lacquered so only the door handles and two floor plaques by the Altar need to be polished. Four arrangements of artificial flowers have been ordered to replace fresh flowers in an emergency.
New linen for altar clothes, credence cloths, purificators etc has arrived and Mrs Eastick has very kindly offered to embroider them
The New pulpit has necessitated altering the kneelers for the Lady Chapel. We are grateful to our gifted needlewomen for doing this. The needlework group is also looking for new members.
