A prayer for our common life
Words of worship, service and generous love for the parish and for all whom God calls us to serve.
Faithful in worship and mission
The Parish Prayer gathers the calling of Christ Church into one act of prayer: to worship God, to serve unselfishly, to give generously and to make Christ known.
Almighty Father,
Thy loving providence has brought us into the fellowship of this parish of Christ Church;
help us by thy grace to worship thee with such an holy worship,
and to serve thee with such unselfish love,
and to give ourselves so generously for the spread of thy kingdom,
that we may be worthy members of thy Holy Catholic Church,
and that this Parish may faithfully fulfil its mission to make known thy truth
and to convey thy life to others;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
