The Reverend Stephen Bloor
Stephen has served as Rector of Christ Church North Adelaide since 2021. He leads the parish in worship, pastoral care and mission, grounded in his love for Jesus Christ and expressed through the Anglican tradition.
The Book of Common Prayer is central to Stephen’s ministry. He seeks to bring together traditional worship, Christian discipleship, pastoral care, outreach and lay ministry.
Leading the musical life of Christ Church
Amelia Holds — Director of Music
Amelia plans music for services and concerts and conducts the choir. She is passionate about choral music and the connection created when people sing together.
Matthew Atherton — Organist
Matthew is an organist, composer and teacher whose work spans worship, recital performance, composition and education.
Supporting the practical life of the parish

Executive Assistant to the Rector
Supports correspondence, governance, diary management and coordination across parish life.
Dr Claire Bloor
Parish Librarian and Archivist
Cares for the Bishop Renfrey Library and the archival records held at Christ Church.
Hamish McLachlan
Parish Sexton and Sacristan
Supports weekday services, events, church and hall hire, hospitality and care of the facilities.
