Christ Church offers prayer and pastoral care through illness, bereavement, uncertainty, loneliness and major life change.
A confidential conversation
The Rector receives pastoral and prayer enquiries and can arrange a confidential conversation, prayer, a pastoral visit or further support. You are welcome to make contact whether or not you regularly attend Christ Church.
Your request will be treated with care
You may send a prayer request and choose whether it is shared with clergy only, with the Prayer Circle, or through the parish prayer list.
- The form asks for your name and email so we can remain in contact.
- If requesting prayer for someone else, please confirm that person’s consent.
- No newsletter subscription will be added.
- Your request will be shared only according to the option you select.
Prayer and healing
The parish Prayer Circle prays for people and situations entrusted to its care. Christ Church also offers Holy Eucharist with prayers for healing.
Communion and visiting
Pastoral visits and Holy Communion may be arranged for people unable to attend because of illness, frailty or other circumstances.
