Parish life at Christ Church begins in worship and grows through friendship, prayer, learning, music, care and service. Whether you are new to church or have belonged for many years, there is a place for you here.
Life together
More than a Sunday service
We gather around the Christian faith and make room for conversation, friendship and practical care. You are welcome to begin simply by coming to worship and staying for morning tea.
Worship and fellowship
Sunday worship is at the heart of parish life, followed by time together over morning tea. Services, meals and seasonal gatherings deepen friendship and Christian discipleship.
Children, families and friendship
Messy Church is a free, all-age gathering with Bible stories, activities, songs, prayer and a shared meal. Children should ideally attend with a parent or guardian.
Music, service and outreach
People contribute through music, welcome, worship, the Sanctuary Guild, outreach and many other ministries. You do not need to know where you fit before making contact.
Care and prayer
Support through every season of life
Pastoral care
The parish offers pastoral visiting and a listening presence for people facing illness, grief, change or isolation.
Prayer and healing
You may ask for prayer, connect with the Prayer Circle or attend the weekly Holy Eucharist with prayers for healing.
Care beyond our walls
Parishioners serve the wider community through nursing-home ministry, practical outreach and partnerships that express Christian care.
