Visit Christ Church This Sunday

Welcome

Whether you are exploring the Christian faith, returning to church after time away, new to Adelaide, or simply curious about Anglican worship, you are warmly invited to Christ Church North Adelaide.

Our regular services use the Book of Common Prayer and combine reverence, Scripture, prayer and the Anglican choral tradition. You do not need to be familiar with the service before you come. A printed order of service is provided, and our welcomers will be glad to help.

Finding and entering the church

Christ Church is at 62–72 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide. Visitors enter through the doors on the southern side of the church building.

There is no on-site parking. On-street parking is available in the surrounding streets, subject to the posted parking restrictions.

Accessibility

Step-free access is available through the south-east door, and an accessible toilet is available. Christ Church uses the Wi-Fi-enabled Listen EVERYWHERE system to assist people who would benefit from amplified sound. Please ask a welcomer if you would like help connecting your device.

Children and families

Children are welcome to remain with their families throughout worship. Children's activity packs are available at the back of the church. Families may also be interested in Messy Church, our family-friendly gathering with Bible stories, activities, songs and prayer.

Holy Communion

All those who regularly receive Communion at their own church are welcome to receive Communion with us. Anyone who does not wish to receive is welcome to come to the altar rail for a blessing or to remain in their place.

What should I wear?

There is no dress code. People often dress formally for worship, but you are welcome to come as you are.

Would you like to speak with someone first?

If you have questions, particular accessibility needs, or would simply find it helpful to make contact before attending, please contact the Parish Office or the Rector. We will be glad to help.
