Music offered for the glory of God
The Christ Church Choir and historic pipe organ serve the Church’s prayer and proclamation, carrying Adelaide’s Anglican choral tradition into a living worshipping community.
Come, listen and pray with us
Sacred music is not a performance added to worship at Christ Church. It gives voice to Scripture, prayer and praise. Visitors are welcome whether this tradition is familiar or entirely new.
Choral Eucharist
Our principal celebration of Holy Communion, with sermon and music led by the Christ Church Choir.
Choral Evensong
A beautiful service of Scripture, prayer and music in the language of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.
A choir formed for Anglican worship
Professional Lay Clerks, Choral Scholars and Voluntary Choristers sing repertoire spanning centuries of Anglican sacred music. The choir welcomes enquiries from experienced singers and those interested in joining this distinctive ministry.
A historic voice in a generous acoustic
The three-manual instrument has 43 speaking stops and approximately 2,300 pipes. It supports congregational singing, accompanies the choir and brings recital repertoire to life.
